A Green Start to the New Year in Dallas

Carryout Bag Ordinance - Green Dallas Effective Jan. 1, 2015, single-use carryout bags have a five-cent per bag environmental fee in Dallas. A single-use bag can be paper or plastic. Dallas joins cities such as Austin, Seattle and San Francisco (just to name a few) to ban the use of these bags. If you aren't already doing so, keep a supply of reusable bags in your car to avoid the five-cent fee. Keep your change and reduce your carbon footprint.
